Locomotion is a perfect reminder of why the late, great Subcool was known as "The Weed Nerd." He teamed up with Heroes of the Farm to breed this absolute beast, crossing a rare, stinky Blue City Diesel with TGA’s insanely resilient Timewreck (a MzJill masterpiece). The goal was to build an indica-dominant hybrid that packed a serious punch but was tough enough to thrive in the harsh outdoor conditions of the Emerald Triangle. The result was a vigorous, heavy-yielding plant that quickly became a favorite for growers who wanted both structural integrity and off-the-charts bag appeal.

In the garden, Locomotion is a showstopper. As she fades, you'll see these crazy vibrant pinks, oranges, and neon purples creeping into the fan leaves and calyxes. She grows big, rock-hard colas that are just dripping with resin, and experienced growers know you need to top her early and often to get the best structure. You’d better have your carbon filters dialed in, too, because the smell is aggressively loud. Subcool himself said it smells like somebody smacked you in the face with blueberries, backed up by a putrid, skunky diesel funk and overripe pineapples.

This one usually finishes up flowering around 63 days and yields heavy. When it comes to the smoke, it’s exactly what you want from a 70/30 indica cross. It hits your head first with a dreamy, cerebral fog before melting down into a deeply relaxing body stone. It’s fantastic for pain relief or a late-night session, but be careful—smoke too much of this gear and you’ll find yourself completely couch-locked and raiding the fridge. It’s no surprise other breeders used it to create bangers like Locomotion OG and the Mendo Dope collaboration.
