Affiliate links

Some product mentions in coach conversations link to Amazon through our affiliate account (marked with a small "ad" tag). If you buy through one, Amazon pays Cultivar a small commission. It never changes the price you pay, and it never changes the coach's advice — products are suggested because they fit your grow, and most replies contain no links at all. This is one of the ways we keep the journal free.

Privacy, in plain words

Your grow data lives on our own self-hosted server — not a rented cloud, not an ad network. We don't run third-party trackers or sell data. Pseudonyms are welcome. Session replays used for debugging never record what you type (inputs are masked at the recorder). You can export everything, or publish individual grows publicly — sharing is always your explicit choice, private is the default.

AI transparency

Coach answers are generated by AI models using your own journal as context. The exact payload sent per request is viewable by admins in the app's LLM panel. AI can be wrong — verify anything high-stakes.

Beta terms, short version

Cultivar is in open beta: free while we build, first 200 accounts keep every feature free for life. We may change features; we won't retroactively take away what you were promised. Questions: the in-app feedback button reaches the founder directly.
