Terms of use
Last updated 27 September 2026. These terms cover your use of Cultivar — logmygrow.com and the app. Creating an account means you agree to them. They're meant to be read; if anything is unclear, ask at [email protected].
Who can use Cultivar
You must be 21 or older. Cannabis laws differ between countries, states and cities, and it's up to you to know and follow the ones where you grow. Cultivar is a journal and reference tool: it doesn't sell cannabis or seeds, and nothing here encourages breaking the law.
Your account
Use an email address you can receive mail at, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. One person per account.
Your content
What you log is yours. You give us permission to store it, back it up and process it to run Cultivar — including sending parts of it to the AI model that answers your questions, as the privacy policy explains — and to show it publicly only where you choose to publish it. If you publish a grow, you let us display it, including on the matching strain page, until you unpublish it. Only upload what you have the right to share.
Fair use
- No illegal content, harassment or spam.
- No scraping, overloading, probing or attacking the service, and no attempts to get into accounts or data that aren't yours.
- No reselling or repackaging Cultivar or its data without our written permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
The AI coach
Coach answers and photo diagnoses are generated by AI, and they can be wrong. They're general growing information, not professional, medical or legal advice. Check anything important before you act on it, especially where electricity, chemicals or your health are involved.
Sensors, smart plugs and automations
If you connect devices or set up automations, you're responsible for your equipment and your grow space. Other companies' services can fail or lag, and automations can misfire, so don't rely on Cultivar as your only safeguard against heat, water or electrical problems.
Beta, pricing and changes
Cultivar is in open beta: everything is free while we build, and the first 200 accounts keep every feature free for life, with a generous fair-use daily limit on AI coaching. Features may change and the service may sometimes be unavailable. When paid plans start, the price is shown before you pay, nothing is charged without your agreement, and you can cancel at any time. We won't take back what we've promised to existing accounts.
Links and affiliates
Some product and seed links are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Other sites have their own terms and privacy policies. More on the disclosures page.
No warranty
Cultivar is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for lost crops, damaged equipment, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss from using Cultivar, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.
Leaving, and if we ever close
You can stop using Cultivar at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). If we ever shut Cultivar down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your data first.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes, and we'll tell you in the app or by email before a change that affects you takes effect. Using Cultivar after that means you accept the new terms.
