Back when Subcool was basically running the underground seed game, he dropped Timewreck and completely blew our minds. The man was obsessed with capturing that devastating, head-ringing potency of the Arcata Trainwreck clone, but he wanted it in a stable seed form. So he took his legendary Blood Wreck cut—which was already a powerhouse—and smashed it into a proven Vortex male. The result was an absolute monster of a sativa-dominant hybrid. Subcool always knew how to lock down flavor, and he absolutely nailed it here. You get this wild, funky mix of sharp sour lemon, rotting fruit, and that unmistakable Trainwreck pine sap.
In the garden, this one is not for the faint of heart. Timewreck is an aggressively vigorous plant that easily doubles in size the second you flip your lights to 12/12. She stacks these heavy, spear-shaped colas that get so dense they often start throwing out crazy foxtails near the end of her 8-week run. I remember running a pack back in 2012, and the sheer amount of resin this plant dumps on the sugar leaves is insane. You have to stay on top of your trellising, because those branches will snap under their own weight if you let them go unsupported.
