Cookies Kush by Barneys Farm
Back in 2014, Barney’s Farm rolled up to the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam and absolutely crushed the competition, taking home 1st place with Cookies Kush. They created this heavy-hitter by taking the legendary Girl Scout Cookies and crossing it with a very specific, much-hyped "Rolex" pheno of OG Kush. The goal was to bring that West Coast cookie flavor to the European coffee shop scene while seriously boosting the yield and vigor. They essentially built a better-yielding, heavier-hitting GSC.
In the dirt, Cookies Kush is a dream for indoor setups. She stays squat and bushy, rarely stretching past a meter tall. Because she grows so thick, you definitely need to get in there and lollipop or defoliate heavily to keep the air moving and push energy to the top colas. She's fast, wrapping up flower in about 7 to 9 weeks, and dumps serious weight. We're talking up to 600 grams per square meter of rock-hard, greasy nugs. Just make sure your carbon filter is fresh, because by week 5, she reeks of pure gas and dough. You might even need to stake the branches late in flower because the buds get so heavy they'll snap the stems.
The smoke is devastating in the best way possible. The terp profile is a crazy mix of deep, earthy Kush, fresh mint, dark chocolate, and sweet baker’s dough. But don't let the sweet taste fool you—this stuff consistently tests well over 20% THC and it hits like a freight train. You get a quick rush of euphoria right behind the eyes, but that fades fast into a crushing, heavy-lidded body stone. It’s the ultimate nightcap strain. If you smoke a heavy joint of Cookies Kush, you better have a couch nearby and absolutely nothing left on your to-do list.

Growing Cookies Kush: what to expect
As an indica-leaning plant, expect a modest stretch after the flip (roughly 50–100%) and dense bud structure — which makes late-flower humidity discipline the main risk: keep RH in the 40s once buds fatten to stay ahead of mold. Growers familiar with Girl Scout Cookies or Rollex OG Kush will recognize much of its behavior. Whatever the listing says, the cut in YOUR tent is the ground truth: log feedings, readings, and photos, and let the trends — not the label — drive decisions.
