Appalachia by Unknown or Legendary

Originally bred by the obscure and highly respected High & Lonesome Seeds back around 2007, this strain became a cult legend on the East Coast. It’s a straight-up powerhouse cross of a clone-only Green Crack and a wildly potent Tres Dawg male. What came out of that cross was an incredibly vigorous, resin-soaked beast that combined sharp citrus terpenes with a heavy, fuel-soaked chem backbone. For a long time, the original cuts were kept tightly guarded by caregivers scattered throughout the Appalachian mountains.

Appalachia eventually reached mythical status when Bodhi Seeds got ahold of an Appalachia male and started using it to hit everything in his stable. It became a cornerstone of his breeding projects, passing down insane frost, solid structure, and a really unique, penetrating aroma that just makes your mouth water. If you spent any time on Overgrow or ICMag back in the day, you remember the massive threads of guys pheno-hunting these crosses and trying to track down the pure lines. Sadly, pure unadulterated Appalachia seeds are pretty much lost to time, surviving only in the dusty seed vaults of old-school breeders.

Don't let the seed banks fool you with similar names like "Appalachian Kush"—that’s an entirely different beast. True Appalachia brings a soaring, cerebral high that eventually settles into a heavy, warm body buzz.
