By backcrossing the line twice to the original mother, they locked down all the weird, wonderful traits of the clone and made it available in seed form.
Growing the Bx2 is definitely a rewarding challenge, and not something I'd hand to a first-timer. The plant has this crazy, zigzagging, vine-like branching structure that can get totally out of control if you aren't paying attention. Because the flowers pack on insane amounts of dense, sticky resin, those spindly branches will flat-out snap without heavy staking and support. She really wants organic soil and organic nutrients; if you start pushing heavy synthetic salts or screw up your flush, the flavor profile shifts away from the sweet berries and turns overly floral and harsh. Give her eight to nine weeks of flower, keep your carbon scrubbers running on high, and she'll dump pure fire.
The terp profile on a properly grown Blue Magoo Bx2 is incredibly complex. It's a heavy, layered mix of dark berries and overripe fruit, backed up by super weird undertones of lavender, star anise, rose, and church incense.
